劉興軍教授,廈門大學材學院院長,廈門大學材料設計與應用工程研究中心主任,廈門市高性能金屬材料重點實驗室主任,福建省閩江學者特聘教授,博士生導師,國家杰出青年科學基金獲得者。1994年10月國家教委公派、享受日本文部省獎學金赴日本東北大學攻讀博士學位,1998年獲得日本東北大學工學博士學位,1998年4月至2000年3月任日本通商產業省重點項目主查、首席研究員,2000年4月至2004年12月任日本東北大學助(副)教授。
