本文提出了在強(qiáng)堿性催化劑三(雙三甲基硅基氨基)稀土化合物作用下,NCA不僅3-NH會(huì)發(fā)生去質(zhì)子化反應(yīng),而且4-CH上也會(huì)。對于后一個(gè)去質(zhì)子化反應(yīng),此前一些學(xué)者認(rèn)為“非常不可能(very unlikely)”。我們通過捕捉和表征反應(yīng)中間體,詳細(xì)證明了NCA的4-CH上質(zhì)子的酸性,不僅提供了NCA在堿性環(huán)境中外消旋現(xiàn)象的微觀證據(jù),而且對于Bamford教授提出的另一種活化單體(碳負(fù)離子化的NCA)提供了直接證據(jù),證實(shí)了他對于強(qiáng)堿催化N-取代NCA(如肌氨酸)聚合機(jī)理的猜想。該論文被選為J. Polym. Sci. Part A: Polym. Chem.(2012) 第18期的封面文章刊出。
首次使用氨基封端的聚乙二醇(PEG-NH2)作為引發(fā)劑,便捷地合成聚醚-b-聚肽。利用PEG嵌段對聚肌氨酸(PSar)嵌段的增溶性,實(shí)現(xiàn)肌氨酸NTA的可控聚合,所得產(chǎn)物具有很高的產(chǎn)率(> 90%),很窄的分子量分布(< 1.2),肌氨酸嵌段的長度可由投料比控制。聚乙二醇-b-聚肌氨酸(PEG-b-PSar)是一種新型的雙親水嵌段共聚物,可以作為乳化劑,使有機(jī)液滴在水中形成穩(wěn)定的納米和微米尺寸的液滴,也可以在特定的有機(jī)溶劑中形成不同形貌的膠束粒子,并且具有封裝金屬離子的能力(Cu2+和Ni2+)。PEG-b-PSar無毒、生物相容和可生物降解的特性,使其成為一種很有應(yīng)用前景的環(huán)境響應(yīng)型表面活性劑,可用于食品、化妝品和醫(yī)藥等領(lǐng)域。
